For over 30 years Hutton's Law has been seen as a respected law firm within South Wales. To aid with their business expansion, we were commissioned to refresh the brand identity and to improve brand positioning.
Refresh of a trusted brand
The Hutton’s brand identity had come to show its age. For over 30 years Hutton’s had built a reputation for not only the expert service that they provide but also the relationships that they develop with their clients.
In line with the growth strategy of the business, it was recognised that refreshing the identity would allow Hutton’s to appeal to a wider audience. A new identity needed to be more representative of the services that they now provide.
The Brand Identity
We partnered with Hutton’s to create an iconic ‘H’ emblem that would become a key component of the new logotype. It was essential that we created an interesting and flexible identity system.
To sit alongside the new identity, we also developed a strapline to capture the way Hutton’s go about their business.
By using lifestyle imagery, we were able to present the personable face of Hutton’s and use this throughout their marketing materials.
Internal and external branding for Hutton's
Having created the main elements of the brand identity, we were then tasked with applying the branding across the various touchpoints of the business.
This included interior and exterior signage along with business stationery and marketing collateral.

A key touchpoint for Hutton’s is their website. We designed a new website to best represent the brand moving forward.
