As they approached their 20th anniversary, Coral Communications sought a complete brand overhaul to reflect their evolving aspirations and to reposition themselves as a top contractor across the UK.
Coral Communications are a specialist provider of communications and telecommunications solutions within the railway sector. Known for delivering on promises and cultivating deep industry expertise, Coral Communications has built its reputation through word-of-mouth referrals and long-standing relationships with key clients.

For the housing association Valleys to Coast, the way that the repairs and maintenance arm operated was broken. The entire process from customer to company was fragmented and frustrating, thus needing a new sister company to adapt to the needs and expectations of its clientele.

Despite their respected track record, Coral Communications recognised the need for stronger visibility and a bolder market presence. With competitors gaining traction and increased visibility in the marketplace, Coral Communications wanted to ensure that their brand matched the quality and scale of their work.
Furthermore, the company was preparing for expansion beyond London, into new markets such as North Africa and additional sectors like airports and buses.
The Brand Idea
The new visual identity encapsulates Coral Communications’ ambition to be both bold and trusted. A clean, modern design system was introduced, with a colour palette and graphic elements that emphasised both their reliability and progressive approach. By incorporating flexibility into the design, the identity is future-proofed, allowing Coral to scale and adjust the brand as the business grows.

The rebranding of Coral Communications resulted in a vibrant and distinct visual identity that positions the company as a leader in innovative and reliable communication solutions for the telecommunications industry. At the heart of this transformation is the emblematic logo, a dynamic 'C' formed by rotating spokes, symbolising Coral’s core values and capabilities. This emblem communicates precision through its eye-like shape, embodying the company’s dedication to quality and accuracy. The radiating spokes capture Coral’s ability to establish vast networks, symbolising the intricate connectivity Coral fosters within global transportation and communication infrastructures.
The new colour palette further differentiates it from the traditional, subdued tones typical of competitor brands. The fresh, lively hues convey Coral’s commitment to energy, innovation, and global reach, aligning with its growth ambitions and technical expertise. This striking new brand identity, alongside revamped digital and print collateral, has helped position Coral Communications not only as a provider of dependable, high-speed communication solutions but also as a brand that embodies resilience, interconnectedness, and forward-thinking solutions for the future of transport networks worldwide.
