For the housing association Valleys to Coast, the way that the repairs and maintenance arm operated was broken. The entire process from customer to company was fragmented and frustrating, thus needing a new sister company to adapt to the needs and expectations of its clientele.
The challenge
Already viewed as pioneering and disruptive in the clean tech sector, Mixergy needed to increase its credibility and demonstrate its shift from a ‘start-up' to a mass-market technology player by completely overhauling its brand.
The goal was to refine the brand strategy to allow Mixergy to engage with both B2B and B2C audiences. Mixergy aims to expand its market share across key audiences not just by selling products but by building long-term relationships and customer experiences that people love. This needed to be reflected in its brand strategy and positioning.
The solution
We developed a distinctive and flexible identity system for Mixergy. This consists of a bold, bright and energetic colour palette, confident typography, and a storytelling-first photography style. The identity itself was designed to provide Mixergy with a set of ownable brand assets to be used across brand touchpoints.
Developing the Brand Identity
The Mixergy brand mark has become a registered symbol, and the wider identity has evolved to suit business needs. As Mixergy continues to innovate its products and services, the identity has been designed to be both extendable and flexible, creating a long-term asset.
